Good morning and welcome to Sunday Sketch here at The Everyday Scrapper. Today’s sketch comes to you from Pencil Lines

The sketch was designed by Irene Tan aka “Scrapperlicious”. Here is Irene’s Layout.

My layout, Best Friend, is a super cute picture of my son with his talking Elmo doll.

Irene’s sketch and layout have a tremendous amount of detail and layered components. I wanted to capture that in my project using a variety of products from Sassafras Lass including patterned papers, flower stickers and die cuts, and border strips. In addition there are paper flowers from Prima’s E Line, some miscellaneous glittered chipboard pieces, and a Pink Paislee corduroy brad. I even managed to fit in some Fancy Pants ribbon. The alphas are American Crafts Thickers.

While the sketch has many components, there is quite a bit of room for creative license and to combine products. Be careful because your layout might become too much of a hodgepodge engulfing your picture as I’m afraid happened a bit here. When you’re trying something new remember no one is perfect, and not every layout will be a masterpiece!
